Looking forward to sharing some flower pics of this one in the near future, it produces one of my favorite ping flowers. Will update again, once it has gotten comfortable here. dvg

These are the results from those leaf pulls, a year later. The original mother-ping has been removed from this pot. dvg

Thanks Steve. It was -7°c outside yesterday when I took that pic. There is a bit of snow visible in the sidewalk expansion joint, centre right and centre left of the pot in the photo. dvg

This thread hasn't been updated for two years because my all-mineral mix coupled with my spotty watering habits meant a new start with this species was needed. The potting mix was changed to accomodate more organic material, in order to help retain more moisture over longer time intervals. This new start with a hemiepiphytica clone has graced me with a bonus flower, on the way. dvg

The fungus gnats are attracted to this clone's glistening leaves. A new flower is emerging - was able to self-polllinate the previous flower and even had some pollen left over to dab on a gigantea flower as well. dvg

The previously selfed flower is still waiting to pop out its seeds while another opportunity arises. dvg
