This new addition came bearing a gift.  A flower stalk is pushing itself up between the two leaves. The plant might not be looking like much now, but there are plenty of tubers just beneath the media surface. dvg |

U. alpina on the left, next to U. endresii, which is sporting a flower stalk and only a single leaf stolon.  *Just noticed that i had put an extra "s" into this Utric's species name, and my label in the pic still has the misspelling, in place for now.* dvg
