These seedlings definitely didn't like the very hot days we had. The same applies to lots of the other mesemb seedlings. Here's the survivor/s. These desert plants are very touchy when it comes to direct sunlight and I have to move them around and provide shading. The Carnivores on the other hand lap up as much sun as they can get. Not quite what you'd anticipate. At least I have as many Monilaria plants left as I wanted. I'm useless at culling and disposing of plants so it saves space

My sole surviving seedling expresses its view on the outcome of COP26 Slightly out of focus to enhance the water cells on the epidermal layer so the delegates can do the proverbial with glitter 🤐
