I noted this in another thread, so here's an adapted post I did on other sites in 2014. Finally having all my Darlingtonia together last year and spending some time in that greenhouse, I noticed a distinct difference in texture on one particular clone. It is a 'selfed' Mike Brooks' Giant seedling. The heads are proportionately larger and it colours a darker green. However, the main thing to notice is that the windows are all domed giving it a warty reptilian appearance. I have now acquired a division of the parent of this plant and so far it does not show this texturing. ( Watch this space) Does anyone else have clones with this characteristic?
