This is an unidentified leaf that I found in the dross from the Job Lot. It's been sitting in the pot and treated with tlc ever since. All it seemed to be doing was getting fatter. Now it's three leaves so I may eventually get an ID. I have a feeling that it isn't a mesemb though.

Are you leaning toward an ID on this one yet?
It does make pretty rosettes - an Echevaria cultivar, perhaps?

I'm leaning towards Crassula Doug Well, judging by how well i did on your "simple" cono/lithops ID quiz, i think i'll just go with your eye on this one. dvg

Fred, have you moved any closer to a positive ID with this former lone leaf?

Yes Doug, I've ID'd it as "The Leaf" Fred, it'll come to you; it looks common enough that it shant stump you for long. Maybe throw it up on a quiz of the week and let the lads have a go at it. dvg

I'm convinced this is Anacampseros telephiastrum f. variegatum 'Sunrise' (which is sometime incorrectly sold as Anacampseros rufescens 'Sunrise'). Both the leaf coloration, and the hair near the growth point.

I was hoping to show a flower fully open but I've not seen that myself yet. One of them was partially open three days ago.
