Got to a customers house this morning and noticed his lawn was completely trashed. When I asked what had happened he told me that his lawn had a beetle larvae infestation and the birds and local fox had taken a liking to them

Wowzers! Yeah I'd say that's well and truly wrecked. I thought we had a 'problem' with foxes digging a few burrows, but it pails a bit in comparison to that.

Yes Fred my customer said that they were chafers and that some "lawn guy" was going to treat with a type of nematode, I actually did say that there would most likely be a temperature range. In all fairness it looks like the damage is done. Could be disastrous for something like a golf course

There's an infected lawn somewhere around here too. The adult beetles attack our rose flowers every year. I tend to feed up the Dionaea and Heliamphora with them.
