There's a couple of potsful of these of varying descriptions. dvg said he liked a plant in another post because of it's brain like appearance. I suppose he'll therefore like this one.

Very nice Fred, I've ordered myself some karasmontana and another lithop species seed from silverhill seeds, maybe worth a look as they have quite a few and interesting to get them straight out of Africa, very reasonable postage ,a fiver and I presume that would pay for many packets

I think I'm about finished with seed orders this year corky. I have some coming from Australia and more from Spain. That'll not stop me looking at Silverhill though

Interesting that the seedlings have the characteristic Lithops split, at such an early stage of development.

Look at the second photo in this thread Doug. The bottom seedling shows that the "split" or "join" is there from day one.

Got some seeds in today off silverhill, I read I'm supposed to try and keep seeds at 70f and shaded,do you reckon I still can sow them in a shady window ,I sowed my others much earlier in the year I think
