These have started moving. Lithops 'Malachite' - No idea what the red one is or the ones top and bottom of it   Lithops dorotheae - I seem to have a few of these.  |

Is the 'malachite' a l .salicola 'malachite ' like the seedlings I've just germinated?

It is corky
Lithops salicola 'Malachite' as it's a cultivar the species name is dropped

Makes sense ,mine is labelled malachite form ,in my defence that's confusing to name a cultivar after a form, cheers |

Cactus and succulent people are in my experience a little notorious in flouting the rules of the way plants' names are recorded.
BTW it was said on the MSG zoom meeting the other night that Lithops optica f. rubra is watered year round. I did already know that it is late flowering compared to the other Lithops.

Interesting about the l.optica rubra ,I still haven't flowered a lithops yet and those will be a few years away but always good to have plants flowering at different times
