That is lovely Fred and looks to be an AF flower, i‘d gues from its roundness it was a purpurea or purp hybrid, is it a purpurea hetrophylla? Cheers Steve

The label on this disappeared many many moons ago Steve. I can assure you that there is no purpurea whatsoever in its make-up though. I always think of it as being an alata or alata X.

I've had this clone for 35+ years. I'm not sure of it's parentage but it's useless as a carnivore. The pitchers are tall and wide. It could possibly prevent a Jumbo Jet escaping if one fell in but not anything slightly smaller.
